Made a service appointment, and they hung up while being checked out. The repair tech cleared the computer memory and said they were fine. The next day I went out on a trip and they would not extend.
How to troubleshoot a bad Atwood ignition switch?
Leave switch off, go outside to heater and un-plug 4 pin connector. Go back inside and turn switch on Go back outside and plug in 4 pin connector, then heater will ignnite !! Seems like bad switch or perhaps control board, or ??? It’s the board. An interesting troubleshooting process.

Had to lay and solder wires to the etches on the board. I have seal again. Atwood’s solution is a complete replacement of the whole system, jacks and electronics. When I can no longer repair, I will replace with HWH. My other two coaches with HWH never had a problem, but that is a $5,000 to $8,000 solution that I don’t want to do.

There are two control cables that are connected to the controller. The connections are very small about the size of wire wrap pins. Over time vibration and damp location the connections will corrode. I have used the cleaner and the sealed with clear silicone. May last a year.
