Can a Jayco freedom run without a battery?
We have a 2001 jayco freedom pop top it has Centurion 12 volt system ,we have run it with out a Battery at all since we bought the van ,the two battery wires are taped up so as not to short out. 12 volt should work ok without battery while on mains power.We run fridge mainly on AC (mains) switch under seat behind Centurion unit.

Pauline and I recently purchased a 2002 Jayco Freedom 17ft pop top. Took me several days to work out the wiring. Ours has the battery and fuses under the lounge seat. We have a switch near the fuses panel that lights up in the on position when the 240 volt is attached. I believe this is charging the battery.
