Is there a fault with the Dometic fridge alarm?
A feature of the “fault” is that the fridge does keep working despite the alarm, so there’s no need to switch it off if you can put up with the beeps until you are advised of the cure – OK if you can go out for a walk, but no good to sleep with.
Why does my caravan Fridge have an alarm?
The weather is 14 degrees and rain so no problems with external heat. This model does have the alarm to let you know if the door has been left open or the selected power source is not available.
