Softbook programs allow traditional high school students to apply for the Air Force as they begin their senior year in the fall and to reserve positions in specific careers. The program usually runs from April to September of the first year. You will be 17 years of age or older. If you are 17 years old, you need parental consent.

You will enroll in a late enrollment program, but will not complete basic military training until after high school.

The program usually runs from April to September of the first year. You will be 17 years of age or older. If you are 17 years old, your parents' consent is required.
You will enroll in the Deferred Enrollment Program, but will not complete basic military training until after high school.
