Here is the quick version. After 8 years I got hard steering when not moving. Put a parts store pump on. No better. Put a ford one on. A little better.

The truck will pull to one side. Once you get it this close to correcting it, it pulls the opposite way. When you turn more thanhalfway to turn a corner, it is almost like it pulls you around the corner and you have to turn the opposite way to not turn too far. Forget about having the steering wheel return to center on its own. Won’t happen.
