The OEM units blower whined a TON, noisy operation. This new SF-35F”Q” unit is a lot quieter, I mean 4 times quieter. It makes a rushing air sound but no whining fan noise at all. It’s so much quieter I’d replace the unit just for the noise reduction alone. The blower re-design is well worth the money.
